Tincture from the root of szczeci is considered one of the most important remedies supporting the treatment of Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases. It effectively destroys bacteria (including the spirochetes Borrelia burgdorferi), protozoa, and some pathogenic fungi. The effectiveness of extracts from szczeci is compared to amoxicillin – an antibiotic commonly used in the treatment of Lyme disease. It can also be used in cases of difficult and long-lasting infections.

The tincture also has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Traditionally, it was used for rubbing into aching bones and joints to relieve inflammation. It supports the treatment of arthritis, rheumatism, and gout.
The root of szczeci supports the cleansing of the body from toxins – it has diuretic and sweating effects. It stimulates the digestive system, increases the production of bile and digestive juices, and acts protectively on the liver (hepatoprotective).

In herbal therapy for Lyme disease, the root of szczeci plays a key role. It can be used together with antibiotics during and after conventional medical therapy. The use of szczeci in Lyme disease most often occurs in combination with active substances from the cat's claw plant known as Cat’s Claw. This product is an extract from the root of szczeci. Careful extracts are exceptionally rich in secondary plant substances and essential oils. The active substances dissolved during the extraction process are exceptionally well absorbed by the human body.

Application
