The substance commonly called magnesium oil creates a silky soft layer on the skin, but it does not actually contain oil. It is a maximally saturated magnesium solution, a so-called brine, from the 250 million-year-old dried sea in the Netherlands, the Zechstein Sea. From a chemical point of view, it is magnesium chloride – hexahydrate and an important component of seawater. High-quality magnesium oil consists of 31% magnesium chloride and 69% water.

The layer of magnesium chloride is now located at a depth of about 1600-2000 meters underground, which protects it from environmental pollution. It is distinguished by extraordinary purity and is considered the most valuable natural source of magnesium chloride.

It reaches the bloodstream directly through the skin and is transported from there directly to cells, the lymphatic system, tissues, and bones.
The main storage sites of magnesium in an adult are bones (52.9%), muscles (27%), and soft tissues (19.3%).
Magnesium penetrates the skin much faster and in a more specific way to tissues, muscles, and joints, even if they are poorly supplied with blood due to cramps. Orally ingested magnesium has difficulty reaching calcifications in tissues and bones. Magnesium taken orally is utilized only 30-50%, while that absorbed through the skin is 100%.

Instructions for use of magnesium oil:
Body spray: apply to the skin or affected area – in the morning after getting out of bed and in the evening before going to sleep
Compresses: cold or warm depending on the ailment. For inflammations and fresh wounds with sore or swollen tissue, cold compresses should be used. For this purpose, place a cooling pack on a cloth moistened with magnesium oil – on the magnesium compress. In case of chronic, stabbing pains, cramped muscles, or back pain, use a warm bottle on the magnesium compress.
Additionally: thoroughly moisten a cloth with magnesium oil and place it on the body area, then wrap with foil and cover with dry material, leave for up to 3 hours (or even overnight).
Foot bath: every evening 100 ml of magnesium oil with about 2-3 liters of water (37˚C) for about 30 minutes
Oil massage: massage the whole body with oil for relaxation

TRANSDERMAL USE IN ANIMALS (DOGS, HORSES, AND CATS)
Through transdermal absorption, the body absorbs much more magnesium than with oral intake (feeding). Magnesium oil contributes to regeneration in cases of swelling caused by strains and sprains as well as sudden wounds and acts relaxingly immediately after application, calming and relieving pain. Magnesium oil relaxes tired and heavily strained muscles and joints after exhausting training, tournaments, etc. It can also be used in cases of osteoarthritis and arthritis. It is harmless if licked by the animal.
WARNING
Magnesium oil may cause slight itching or tingling in people with sensitive skin, which is completely harmless. However, contact with open wounds and eyes should be avoided. In case of direct contact, wash the area with water. The bottle with magnesium oil should be tightly closed. Do not drink the oil.
